{"id":17725,"date":"2025-09-17T09:35:01","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T09:35:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/club.involves.com\/es\/?p=17725"},"modified":"2025-09-30T00:40:04","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T00:40:04","slug":"sell-in-vs-sell-out-por-que-son-clave-para-tu-estrategia-en-el-pdv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/club.involves.com\/es\/sell-in-vs-sell-out-por-que-son-clave-para-tu-estrategia-en-el-pdv\/","title":{"rendered":"Sell-in vs. Sell-out: por qu\u00e9 son clave para tu estrategia en el PDV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si est\u00e1s inmers@ en la industria del retail o de trade marketing, estoy segura de que m\u00e1s de una vez has escuchado hablar del <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/club.involves.com\/es\/sell-in-o-sell-out-que-estrategia-elegir-para-tu-marca-en-retail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sell-in<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sell-out<\/span><\/i><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ya que son dos conceptos que pueden parecer b\u00e1sicos, pero incre\u00edblemente poderosos, por lo cual, toda marca deber\u00eda de dominar para tomar las mejores decisiones en su estrategia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aunque muchas veces se pueden llegar a confundir, la verdad es que se complementan y entender sus diferencias te puede ayudar a evitar problemas como sobre inventario, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/club.involves.com\/es\/gestion-de-inventario-como-evitar-quiebres-de-stock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quiebres de stock <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o promociones mal implementadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Empecemos por lo b\u00e1sico:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el <\/b><b><i>sell-in<\/i><\/b><b> y para qu\u00e9 sirve?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El <\/span><b><i>sell-in<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">se refiere a las ventas que realiza un proveedor al retail. Es decir, la cantidad de productos que ingresan en las cadenas de autoservicio, conveniencia o distribuidores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ejemplo: si una cadena como Soriana te pide entregar 5,000 unidades de tu producto, eso representa tu <\/b><b><i>sell-in.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este indicador es \u00fatil para:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medir la efectividad de tu canal mayorista<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gestionar inventarios en distribuci\u00f3n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planear el reabastecimiento a nivel cadena<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Ojo: el <\/b><b><i>sell-in<\/i><\/b><b> no asegura que esas unidades realmente se vendan al shopper.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el <\/b><b><i>sell-out<\/i><\/b><b> y por qu\u00e9 tienes que monitorearlo?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sell-out mide las ventas efectivas al consumidor final. Es decir, cu\u00e1ntos productos realmente se compraron en el PDV.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ejemplo: si un Oxxo vende 500 botellas de refresco en una semana, esas ventas corresponden al <\/b><b><i>sell-out.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este indicador refleja:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La <\/span><b>demanda real <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">del mercado<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El comportamiento y preferencia del shopper<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qu\u00e9 tan exitosas son tus promociones y activaciones en el PDV<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/club.involves.com\/es\/del-sell-in-al-sell-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><i>Sell-in<\/i><\/b><b> vs. <\/b><b><i>Sell-out<\/i><\/b><b>:<\/b><\/a><b> el complemento ideal<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ahora bien, \u00bfqu\u00e9 pasa si solo pones tu atenci\u00f3n a uno de ellos?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Alto <\/b><b><i>sell-in<\/i><\/b><b> y bajo <\/b><b><i>sell-out:<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">significa que tu producto est\u00e1 en los anaqueles, pero no rota. Puede ser falta de activaci\u00f3n, mala exhibici\u00f3n o que el producto no conecta con el consumidor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Alto <\/b><b><i>sell-out<\/i><\/b><b> y bajo <\/b><b><i>sell-in:<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">existe alta demanda, pero poco stock entregado al retail. Resultado: quiebres en el anaquel, ventas perdidas y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shoppers<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> insatisfechos.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es por eso que debes de monitorear ambos indicadores en conjunto para tener una <\/span><b>visi\u00f3n completa del ciclo de ventas.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Estrategias para equilibrar el <\/b><b><i>sell-in<\/i><\/b><b> y <\/b><b><i>sell-out<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Monitorea inventarios y rotaci\u00f3n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en tiempo real para evitar sobrestock o desabasto.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Invierte en ejecuci\u00f3n en PDV<\/b><span
